There's a new name on the SCYYRA North Series Perpetual Trophy! Piercen Giordani of Newport Harbor Yacht Club has won the 2025-2026 SCYYRA North Series. Piercen secured his victory at Newport Harbor Yacht Club's Spring Gold Cup / North Series #4 on March 7-8, 2026.
Skipper Olympia Barelli (SDYC) has done it again! For the second year in a row, Olympia has clinched the top spot for a skipper on the SCYYRA Hamlin Series Perpetual Trophy. Outstanding Crew Maribelle Barelli (SDYC) earned the Series win this year, as well. The 2025-2026 SCYYRA Hamlin Series wrapped up at Long Beach Yacht Club on February 28-March 1, 2026. While the wind on day one of the final regatta left the day without any races, teams rallied and finished the fourth and final regatta strong.
The SCYYRA Hamlin Series is unique, as the helmsman and crew are scored individually for their race results (versus as a team).
The final regatta of this season's SCYYRA Shadden Series held on Feb. 28 - Mar. 1, 2026 at ABYC got off to a very slow start. The scant whisper of wind left CFJ sailors unable to race on day one, before rallying to a solid three races to close out day two. Congratulations to Oceanside Yacht Club's Alexandra Fisher and Tiago Chapman, who not only conquered the series, but swept all four Shadden regattas! With 15 Net Points over 18 races, Alex and Tiago dominated the series year!
