Shadden #1 is CANCELLED

Due to low registration for Shadden #1 at Newport Harbor Yacht Club this weekend, the first regatta of the 2026-2027 SCYYRA Shadden Series had been cancelled.  We look forward to seeing everyone at CalYC for Shadden #2 on October 11th!

Congratulations to the new North Series Champion!

There's a new name on the SCYYRA North Series Perpetual Trophy!  Piercen Giordani of Newport Harbor Yacht Club has won the 2025-2026 SCYYRA North Series.  Piercen secured his victory at Newport Harbor Yacht Club's Spring Gold Cup / North Series #4 on March 7-8, 2026.

Barellis Win the 2025-2026 SCYYRA Hamlin Series

Skipper Olympia Barelli (SDYC) has done it again!  For the second year in a row, Olympia has clinched the top spot for a skipper on the SCYYRA Hamlin Series Perpetual Trophy.  Outstanding Crew Maribelle Barelli (SDYC) earned the Series win this year, as well.  The 2025-2026 SCYYRA Hamlin Series wrapped up at Long Beach Yacht Club on February 28-March 1, 2026.  While the wind on day one of the final regatta left the day without any races, teams rallied and finished the fourth and final regatta strong.

The SCYYRA Hamlin Series is unique, as the helmsman and crew are scored individually for their race results (versus as a team).
